Get involved with the Madison Historical Society!

Join MHS and become part of our story

You are at the core of our work to gather, save, and share Madison’s history.

Everyone with an interest in Madison is welcomed and encouraged to join. Becoming a member helps preserve and share the history of the Rose City.

Volunteer!

Volunteers are the reason we exist!  For over 100 years volunteers have created, expanded, and made the Madison Historical Society a vital part of our community.

We have plenty of opportunities. We are grateful for volunteers as we continue our Madison history journey.

Attend a Program or Event

We welcome you to join us for a speaker series lecture, or one of our future events!

Be a part of the Madison Oral History Project

Do you have a Madison story or stories you would like to share? We would love to hear from you!

The Madison Oral History Project was created to collect, preserve, and share memories of current and past residents for future generations.

You can learn more about this initiative here, and we welcome you to get involved with our other Community Outreach programs.
